Hebrews 11:17-31

(Hebrews 11:17-31)

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,  Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

In chapter 11, they praise the ancestors who lived that life of faith, whose future events had the eye of faith to see reality, and the promise was fulfilled and the evidence of the invisible was proved to be true. Is the second paragraph. The first are Abraham, his descendants Isaac, Jacob and Joseph.

Abraham said, Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. In faith, Abraham gave Isaac to God. Since God had already said that Isaac is your descendant, he believed that God would rise again, even if he was sacrificed and killed.

Isaac by faith also blessed Jacob and Esau. Specifically, the book of Hebrews focuses on what will happen in the future without mentioning the consequences of this blessing. According to this belief, Hebrews mentioned, "Isaac also blessed the future, and Jacob blessed each of Joseph's sons when he died, and Joseph also told the Israelites to leave when he was dying and commanded for his bones." . In other words, it meant that Abraham and his descendants did not see what was said, but eventually realized it. Their lives were also life of faith.

Introduced in Hebrews from Moses to parasitic Rahab. First, as he believed in the future, following the example of Abraham's faith, Moses was hidden for three months because he was not afraid of the king's command in the faith of his parents, so he was able to survive as an exodus from the Israelites. To hide this child was to risk his life. Nevertheless, Moses' parents were not afraid to go against the king'sorders. Because they really knew who to fear. Following this example of faith, Moses refused to be called the son of Princess Pharaoh.

By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season

Moses practiced his faith by leaving Egypt. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. He believed in God who would prove the evidence of things that are invisible by faith, both the Passover and the ritual of sprinkling blood, the crossing of the Red Sea like land, and the turning of Jericho. In addition, by faith, Rahab the parasitic was not destroyed with those who did not obey God by believing in the promise that Jericho would be saved when they perished and accepting the spies in peace.

Faith is proved through experience after believing and obeying the Word of God. In order for the reality of our wishes to become invisible evidence, it is the fact that when we believe in the word of God's promise and obey it regardless of conditions and circumstances, it is experienced and proven. This kind of faith is God-given faith. Because it is a gift from God to those who deny it. In Galatians 3:23, But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. In order for faith to come, we must enter into Christ. It is false to say that you believe without entering into Christ.
