Hebrews 2:1-18

(Hebrews 2:1-18)

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.  For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,  Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.  And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

In chapter 11, called the faith chapter, the great men of faith are recorded. Unknown people are listed, "And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment".
The belief that many believe is that not all have saved salvation. After all, there were times when it shook, and there were times when it was floated by a big wave. Such were among the Christians at the time.
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. Salvation is the only way to bear the name of "Jesus Christ, who is the image of God's glory, the image of its essence, and far superior to the angels." The Bible teaches through two things that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, can be the Savior of the saints.

First, Jesus, the Son of God, became the Savior of the saints through suffering. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Jesus the Son of God himself suffered to lead the saints into glory. Jesus was abandoned by the enslaved crowd of desires. He was enlisted by the blind men of power, vested interests and estranged religious leaders. Jesus suffered reproach, scourging, and cruel crucifixion by ruthless Roman soldiers. Jesus was abandoned by his beloved disciples, and even temporarily abandoned by his heavenly Father. He received all suffering from all in one body, for the saints to enter into glory.

Second, Jesus, the Son of God, becomes the savior of the saints through death. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil Death is the root of all fears of flesh and blood. However, to save this life, God came to this earth in the same way as a man and overcome the power of death. The innocent Jesus Himself was attacked by sin and death, but he conquered death with the power of love, without being enslaved to death, and without being held captive by the fear of death. Only God sent his Son to death for those who repent. The saints are those who repent, deny themselves, and crucify with Jesus.

In Ephesians 4:9-10, (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) The reason the Lord descended and ascended to heaven was to fill all things, but all things are not yet obedient. Because you are not repenting. In Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Christ is the head of the church over all things. So, the saints fight for the fullness of all things in all things as the body of Christ.

Today, many people in the world are showing a life of disobedience to God. The church is overflowing with false Christians because the church preaches in a way that "those who are called will be saved if they believe, if they receive it." It is as clear as light and darkness. In Ephesians 4:24-25 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. If people don't wear the new man, they're all lying to God. The new man is the one who is born again. If there is light, darkness will surely retire. There is no middle, but people act and accept as if there is a middle. In Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) In chapter 5 verses 11-12 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Even if they go to church, if they are in darkness, they are dead. That's why they want to wake up as children of light. It means to put off the old one and put on a new one. To be born again. We must realize that repentance is in darkness. That is why the saints awake from darkness to light, from the sleeping to the dead. Like a naked insect, it is said to take off the skin of the dark and fly up to the sky where the light shines. Thousands of church members hesitate to peel the dark skin. Because they have lived that way for a long time. Because I think that's my identity. We do not go to the kingdom of God because we believe in Jesus, but we must die and be born again with Jesus to enter the kingdom of God.

In Ephesians 1:22-23, ``And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. The church is the fullness of the one who fills all things in all things. Is the Church Full Today? It is not that the church is supposed to be like this, but that the church is originally like this. However, if the church does not do that, it is not obeying the Lord, the head of the church.

So, everyone is dead in transgression and sin. Even if you are in a church building, if you are dead in transgressions and sins, you will not be saved as a child of wrath. They have never repented. Even if they repent, they have repented on their own standards. Jesus says, "Be born again with water and the Holy Spirit," but he is trying to wash away only sin. The dead figure is in Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience

If we do not repent, we cannot be born again of water and the Holy Spirit. Is it correct to say that the old man did not die and he repented? Unless they are born again of water and the Holy Spirit, they all become dead in transgressions and sins. Those who repent become free from transgressions and sins. Transgression means worldly sin, and sin means original sin. The sin of the world is the object of forgiveness, but the original sin is not the object of forgiveness, but the object of death. That is why we are born again with water and the Holy Spirit. This is why Romans 6:7 says that the dead are free from sin. In Ephesians 2zal 5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus Those who were born again of water and the Holy Spirit were seated in heaven in Christ.
